Cheese Club

On the last Thursday of every month we take you on a guided tasting of five of the very best cheeses known to man. Each one will of course be paired with a delicious beer or cider and accompanied with fascinating fromage facts from our convivial host, “Jerry the Cheese”. Always an amazing night with booking essential. This month Jerry is setting you the French Cheese Challenge!! As lovers of fine cheese you will be served a selection of the finest handmade cheeses from artisan cheesemakers using traditional techniques. However it is not only the traditional top-quality French cheeses that remain popular. New cheeses, too, are being developed and made by hand in limited numbers on many small farms here in Britain. From this special evenings quality offering your challenge is to pick the French from the British. Any cheese lover getting each cheese’s nationality – French or British spot on, will receive not only the accolade of ‘Sally Cheese Master’ but also a selection of these wonderful cheeses to take home. This is a pairing event and each fine cheese is served with a Perry, Cider or Beer and selected breads. Cheese Club starts at 7.30pm.
