It’s been a long time since we held this prestigious event and gave all you budding chefs the chance to add your name to the rollcall of winners on our famous Sally Scotch Egg Competition trophy. The rules are pretty simple, make the best scotch egg you can, bring it into the pub for judging at 7pm and then sit back and enjoy the evening. You can enter as many eggs in the competition as you like and please also feel free to bring in any other homemade or homegrown food to share out with everyone in the pub so we can all enjoy a bit of grub after the event. The winner gets an overwhelming sense of pride and satisfaction and potentially something we’ll dig out from lost property. The losers get nothing. Either way, it will be a lot of fun! See you there!
